Etruria Innovazione is a publicly owned, non-profit company born from the need to ensure that regional plans and programmes are implemented in such a way as to ensure balanced regional development and respect for integration policies.

Activities
The sectors and themes addressed are numerous and include
- IT and Human Computer Intraction Lab: the Etruria Lab develops solution based on It for Public Administration, Large Companies and SME on Cultural Heritage sector, Digital Local Agenda, Health and Mobile. Experience: 35 Projects; 14 Publications.
- Creation and coordination of network projects promoting cooperation between public and private subjects and research centres. Experience: 31 Regional Projects; 10 Regional Projects.
- Service centres for technological innovation and Help Desks for Production Activity. Experience: 27 Regional Projects; 6 Regional Projects.
- Regional Project development for local SME

Network
Etruria Innovazione is member of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) through the CINEMA consortium (Central Italy Network to Enhance coMpetitive business Activities).
- Providing information and practical advice on market opportunities, European legislation and policies relevant to a company or sector. Helping SMEs to find suitable business partners using its business and technology cooperation database, providing information on tender opportunities and international networking.
- Developing the research and innovation capacities of SMEs by helping to create synergies with other research actors, foster technological cooperation and holding brokerage events.
- Helping SMEs to share research results, participate in research programs and apply for funding, particularly from the EU's Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7).
